Nous avons perdu un poète extra car Gashouse Dave sur une base Blues souvent très personnelle était de ceux-là. Cet album, très intimiste*, le plus intimiste de tous est fabuleux (avec son côté Tom Waits), à la hauteur de tous ces albums précédents. Il n'y a aucun déchet dans sa discographie.
* Peut-être savait-il le mal qui allait l'emporter en Mai 2009 près des Hendrix, Bloomfield, Buchanan etc...?

Faut savoir qu'il a été bassiste et guitariste d'un certain Mike Bloomfield, ça vous dit!
